About the Club
The Langley Camera Club was established circa 1961 as a non-profit organization aiming to promote photography in the community. We get together to:
- promote and advance photography as an art form
- relax and enjoy photography with friendly associates
- be active in our hobby
- promote friendly competition and
- provide instruction and helpful advice
Members are encouraged to stay active, produce new work and improve on existing and ever changing new techniques. We exhibit our photographic work, both inside the club and in the community.
For 2024-25, we are meeting over Zoom for three meetings a month. We also meet in person on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Langley Lions Society West Langley Hall, 9400 208 St, Langley City, BC V1M 2Y9. All are welcome. Come to a meeting and check us out. If you would like to attend a Zoom meeting, send an email to president@langleycameraclub.ca and our President Carla Hamiilton will send you the meeting link.
The club is a member of the Langley Arts Council, Arts Council of Surrey and the Canadian Association for Photographic Art. Like us on Facebook.
